Camille Durand

Bonjour! I’m Camille Durand, a tech troubleshooter based in Lyon, France, and part of the Bugdir.com team. My specialty? Fixing the unfixable. From encrypted drives gone rogue to IoT devices that refuse to sync, I take on the tech challenges that leave others stumped. Growing up, I was always curious about how things worked—my parents still laugh about the time I took apart the microwave (don’t worry, I put it back together!). After years of mastering both hardware and software, I joined Bugdir.com to help users worldwide overcome their tech troubles, one bug at a time.
Interests:
- Hobbies:
“I adore puzzles—jigsaw puzzles, escape rooms, even cryptic crosswords. It’s no surprise that I love debugging; it’s just another type of puzzle to me. When I’m not solving tech problems, I’m piecing together 1,000-piece views of the French countryside.” - Passions:
“Sustainability is close to my heart. I often repair and repurpose old tech to keep it out of landfills. At Bugdir.com, I also advocate for sustainable solutions in our troubleshooting guides.” - Other Interests:
“When I need a break, I turn to art. I paint abstract pieces inspired by the flow of circuits and data—tech meets creativity, I suppose. Oh, and I never miss a good cup of French coffee while brainstorming solutions.”
Skill Development Backstory:
My love for technology started young. Growing up in Marseille, I was always the kid people came to when their devices stopped working. I taught myself to code by reverse-engineering my favorite games, and I learned hardware repair by salvaging parts from discarded gadgets.
Later, I studied software engineering in Lyon and worked as a developer for a major IoT company. That’s where I discovered my knack for troubleshooting connected devices—figuring out why they fail and how to make them work better. I even built a tool to diagnose common IoT errors, which caught the attention of Bugdir.com.
Now, at Bugdir.com, I combine my technical expertise with my love for teaching. I write step-by-step guides, troubleshoot live issues, and even host webinars for our community. It’s rewarding to know my work helps people worldwide feel less intimidated by technology.
